SLAM (dotz)

Ok, so the event's not that bad. In America, yea pretty good. In England, maybe as good. But Singapore? Jin gang kor (Very difficult)

I mean, have you ever seen a regular Singaporean try to read poetry? It's horrible with that built in accent of ours. Only a few who had mastered the language and gone thru language training.

I mean, Poetry Slam in RI was cold. Half ofo the group chose emo poems, but almost all of them couldn't pronounce a single word properly. Can't imagine how good the finalists are. Must have knocked Shakespeare off his feet.

And from poetry, we have songs. Who's songs? JJ Lin. I have always liked his voice, coz' it was unique for a boy (a little gay, but not uber gay, and bearable), and the content of his songs are clean, and the tune is quite catchy. His latest one however, Sha Shou (murderer), was really disturbing. The goody boy had turned into a psycho stalker/killer who loves this girl so much that one day he stalks her and kidnaps her. Then he kills her and cuts up her body parts to put them up for display (uncensored version).

After that, I never listened to his songs ever again. Somehow I find it oddly demonic.

Lastly, Shawn the baby has won campus superstar. Hurrah, let's clap for babyface. Remember to hold big sister's hand tighter in the future, or you will look like siblings and not a couple! O yea, and grow a moustache to look more masculine, that might help! Stop abusing your gayness and acting cute, coz we dun want a tiny dude to be our uprising star for our music industry. Other countries would just look down on you.

Marcus Lee, you are better than him anytime, and not because I am in RI as well, but your voice and looks are truly better suited for the music industry today.
