36/60 for CHINESE WOOTS. I did better than many others I never thought I would have. And that's saying a lot.
---------------------------
Went to watch L (Finally) with Henry and Ivan. They were LATE for HALF AN HOUR becos they were DOTAING wth. Ivan is still sick, so he had trouble getting out of the house anyway (his mom doesnt allow him).

L isnt as bad as everybody said, I still think that it is quite nice, just that a little slow, and has almost NOTHING to do with Death Note except dies in 23 days. I still like the plot though.

After that poor Ivan gotta go back, and Henry treated me to Sakae Sushi and Dessert at Mos Burger! Omg, at least 45 dollars in all ba. Thanks Henry!!!!! I promise I treat you to SASHIMI and NATTO next time ;) (inside joke)

Happy Days~ =)

History CCT was freaking easy. I couldn't believe it. When I saw the question, I nearly snorted loudly. I immediately scribbled all over the paper all the different notes from memory. I only referred to my notes once even though its an OBA!

This paper helped boost my ego :)

Of course, I won't post the question in case some people have not done it yet. =P
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Question: My father is very bias towards me, and good towards my sister. How far do you agree?

I agree with the statement fully.

Firstly, let me define my criteria. It is the scale of impact of the actions my father did, and how badly it had affected me.

I've always wondered why is my father so bias. I was always encouraged to buy my own food and carry it when I was 9, and scolded if I did not want to do it.

And my sis? She's 12 and my father keeps asking me to do it for her. Sometimes, it is just plain ridiculous.

Yea, you may think I am petty, and its my right as a brother, and she's a girl. How bout' this? My father talks to me in a menancing tone when he asked me if I finished his chocolate, and when my sister comes up to admit it was her, he immediately changes his tone to a happy one. I mean, since when did I acquire that reputation of finishing other people's food? It was always my father who does that, not me.

Again, this is a small scenario. But let me show you further Evidence that further proves my point. If you had to do a Testimonial for your PSLE graduation (not all schools have, but Nangyangites have to do it), you would bother to fill in yourself, probably type it out, and ask the teacher as much as possible, right?

Well, that's what I did 4 years ago. And now I have to do it again, yeaps. AGAIN, this time for my sister. I had to sit down and asked her a million questions of what activities did she do. Then I have to type out the stupid thing myself. My father is great at spoiling her. Thanks dad! I highly appreciated it that you did not consider my busy schedule.

I am not saying it's my sister's fault. Sometimes she can be a pain in the ass, but shes wonderful all the same. Just don't like my father.

In conclusion, my father is a hypocritic downright ***hole. I may be just saying this due to momentary angst.

Friday was screwy. I cleared up the night to go watch L with Jun Lin, Jian Hang and Ivan. Then disaster struck wtf. Ivan got sick, Jun Lin got last minute CCA stuff, and Jian Hang cant go without being late for the boarding house closing time.

Called all possible ppl who can go, but anyway they cant. Not even my parents can wtf. Not fated to watch it -.- Spent the night doing work instead.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Today was a better day. Went for Chingay@Bishan tonight with the RICO ppl living around Bishan, namely Jia Jin and Zhonghao. Damn fun, watched a very boring dragon dance at first. then we waited for half an hour and the short 10 minute segment of chingay arrived. No dancing or proper music whatsoever. Got to shake the MP's hand though =)

Zhonghao went home after that, while Jia Jin, my sister and I went to the funfair below JiaJin's block. Whee, so fun, I just love childish games.

Jia Jin wore the Chingay color lol.
Jia Jin and me were rejected by the coordinator to use the bounce house because we are TOO TALL! So we went round to the back of the house and sat on the cushiony part as an alternative. Free message from jumping kidz woots.

We actually wanted to pose as 12-year olds, but are overly tall cos we are from China. But the coodinator is malay, so i dont think she would have understood us, and not worth the effort at all.

More photos to be posted.

Hurrah my 100th Post!

Of course, there are 100 other things that I would sulk about, but I digress.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been reading my older posts of the past couple of years, and I have noticed that it has been an emotional roller coaster ride for me. Maturity levels also rise and drop frequently. I think I finally see how RI can really toughen people up not only physically, but emotionally as well.

I look back and saw how childish I was. At least now as Sec 4 I really got my priorities straight: Leadership, studies, and friends.

I finally do not feel that sudden urge to rush home to play computer games. I find chatting to friends so much more interesting. I finally feel that sense of urgency to get things going and make sure I have ample time before the dateline, to be prepared.

On my 100th Post, I would like to thank:
- Family
- 4Peeps
- Ivan, my Godbro
- The Inner Circle people
- A certain someone ;)
- And another certain someone :)

Thanks for helping me through.
------------------------------------------------
My Maths CCT is so screwed up. I can't believe I actually didn't see the part (d) and (e) of Q5. I only managed to finish (d) the very last minute.

But hey, it's my 100th post, so yea! No blog of mine has ever reached 100 before.

My life is so miserable that I get elated over tiny things.

Went to Malayia yesterday to celebrate a belated CNY at my mom's friend's house, and came back at 2 a.m. That's when I saw 18 unread messages on my HP in one day! Please people, control your feelings for me.

I love setting off fireworks ^^
--------------------------------
My uncle printed me a photo of a Panda from China, and it looks so cute! The problem is it looks obscene with its legs spread apart, and you can clearly see the 'crevice' which is highly covered with hair. I have no idea what to do with it now.

These couple of weeks are killing me. The list of tasks is long, and I have yet to be muster enough energy to complete them.

RICO performance was crap for me.
During the first song the book didnt open properly, so it kept closing on is own.
NEVER MIND. I solved it.

Second song, the aircon kept turning the page with its cool breeze, and I have to cocntinuously turn the page back. Damn screwed up. Ah well.

Anyway, what does it matter. Old folks have poor hearing anyway, so I don't think they can really tell.

Issac, you look damn malay in that chinese costume ironically.

Anyway, video of my instructor playing ju hua tai on the cello with 2 others. I have to learn how to play it for RICO now :)

Today was fun :)

Pranav: *sabohs* Mam, Eugene also needs to sing as punishment, cos' he talk a lot in class!

Mrs Albar: I'll be kinder to him. He will not join you.

Marcus: Racist!
---------------------------------
I actually managed to try to score today! In fact 3 times! Quite an achievement for me. Hopefully I can keep this up and not be so noob (okay shuddup Tianyang)

Went with Jun Lin to watch him play Squash with his teammate Kevin after school. I've learnt a lot more about squash. Half of the time they were hitting against the glass and making a lot of noise. Jun Lin was engrossed in Burnout as usual, so he hardly paid attention.

After that Marcus joined me for Maths tuition lol, let him tryout to see if he wants to change tuition teacher. Before and after class talked a lot of random stuff.

1) Are all female twins hot/pretty?
2) Marcus's glasses are cool
3) NGEE KENG
4) What kind of girls are considered chio
5) Someone special (Both of us *Ahem*)
6) Babyfats!
7) Squash techniques
8) Looks vs. School
9) RE
10) How is he getting his handphone back from Mrs Albar
.
.
.

I actually didn't mind just following him back from my house to RI and just talking. Helps relieve this week's stress I guess =D

Anyway, gd luck to Marcus for getting his phone back!
If it makes you feel any better, Mrs Tan said that your face is chubby XD

I occasionally like to go back to retro songs. This one, 'walk like an egyptian' by the Bangles is pretty funky, but the video is so ROFLMAO. Bangles and Go-Gos pwns!

Wtf, I accidently posted a casual post in my CCA blog where I said i wanted to kick one of my irritating juniors out. I don't think he saw it, since he isnt bothered to anyways lol. Forgot to change to this blog on my dashboard!

Went down for recess with Jeremy, and met several of the OIP people. Shanzhi came poking me *random*, and Yin LONG~ and Teh-jar asked me abt the Bio test (btw, don't bother studying too much, you wont need 90% of it). Met Yee Siang, Tony and Eugene and were bitching with them about the newly arrived Indonesian students.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Good luck to CERTAIN ppl for finding a date!
------------------------------------------------------------------

Today Interact Club 'training' was damn fun. Wei Xiang is the biggest joker

Wayne: So in this scenario as you can see, the mother is mad with Kevin for not being able to control her son Jonathan and teach him properly. What is the main problem here?

Wei Xiang: She PMS, needs more sex!

Btw. some jokes...

Q: When does Australia begin with an 'A', and end with an 'E'?
A: It always does! Australia and End!

Nice joke Angus =.=

And many other random stuff that is uber crude and lame. But it definitely made the whole thing less boring.

Ok gotta go mug. Many tests and CCTs coming up...

Happy CNY Wdv. I've lost the festive mood on day 2 of CNY lol.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Had the strangest experience last night. Remember the prediction 'power' i have? Well, nothing happened so far as of yet. But last night was very strange.

I was still wide awake, at 1.30 a.m. in the morning. I could not sleep. I was staring at the ceiling, and then suddenly I felt extreme fear. I suddenly visualised a black hawk tearing through the sky, and meat (of what animal i do not wish to know) was thrown across the floor. For a full 15 seconds, the image of the hawk's head with the menacing eye and the meat scene was flashed simultaneously, one after another, like a movie effect. I suffered a severe headache and mind numbing during that period, from that constant pounding that would not stop. After it ended, I still felt the after-effects of the 'attack', and I was extremely traumatised.

Could it be I am suffering from some cerebrum damage? I do not know. All I know is I hate my head being messed around.

I am pretty sure it was not a nightmare, for I was still wide awake, and it was definitely not my imagination, for I have not thought of a hawk OR meat being thrown about since never.

What is it?

CNY rehearsal was screwed up. So was arts@atrium. String broke, then string went flat midway, and other reasons which i can't be bothered to mention.

Forget it, talk about the happy stuff.
------------------------------------------------
Went with godbro Ivan and Henry to watch Cloverfield. Apparently they've watch The Mist, and said it was a movie with a nice plot but crappy ending. Apparently the guy decided to suicide with everyone since they were are going to die, only to find that after he shot the other 4 guys, he did not have any shots left to kill himself. And just at that instant the police arrived to rescue him. Wtf.

Anyway, Cloverfield was a UBER MOVIE. Throughout the whole movie (other than the credits), it was all filmed with a video camera. Okayy I know of cos they didnt, but the movie was about a video camera documenting the series of events involving the destruction of Manhattan, and moving on to other cities.

The video camera was held by the actor (duh), and thus it was always tilted or shaking, so you feel as if you have to always turn your head to watch, or at least imagine yourself on a roller coaster ride, which is something I find very special about this movie.

In fact, it involves the Statue of Liberty's head being blown off and aliens. In a normal movie, everybody knows its computer effects, but with the video camera effect, it greatly heigtens the reality of the movie, and thus everybody forgets about the special effects, but focus more on the thrills and explosions.

To spoil a little more for you, everybody dies in the end (meh), but actually it is realstic if they all die, since the Govt. TNTed, or hammered the whole city up to destroy the alien. It ends with a cliffhanger, as the movie ends once the surviving pair gets blown up by the explosives, and the video camera is left there, lying still.

At least its not some normal Alien plot that concentrates on the origin of the alien and how to defeat it. Moreover, this time you see it from a civilian's point of view.

The only thing I found unrealistic is how a video camera could have that much battery life, and also how it could have survived so many crashes and drops. My phone already cracked when dropped into a drain from my height. And the freaking camera survived after dropping from an exploded camera in the sky, and the countless drops that the actor had done while tripping onto the floor.

Score: 8.5/10
Lost 1 due to misleading and boring introduction, and 0.5 for the amazing survival of the camera. Alien looked really cool though.

Signing off,
FMA
