Hua Yu Ku (Translation: Chinese is cool)Singapore is an effectively billingual country, and Chinese is used widely for communication, even in a English-origin school like Raffles Institution. In fact, Chinese is now such a popular language that even non-Chinese people have taken it up as their mother tongue. Here is an example of how it is applied:
~During Chem Class~
Guang Yao (a.k.a Pranav): 我要喝你的奶!
Mask Rider (Name changed to prevent lawsuits): 男人没有奶!
Guang Yao:
Mask Rider:
(Obviously you noe what 'lan' refers to)!
Mask Rider:
Guang Yao:

To those non-Chinese speaking people, you are encouraged to learn Chinese so that you can read and enjoy such conversations in the future when China invades Singapore's market.
