I was just thinking.

Why do we bother to commemerate days? I mean fair enough for days to remember events like New Year, Xmas etc, but how bout others like Father's/Mother's Day or Valentine's day?

Grandparents' day? How original. Why bother celebrating anyway? They'd rather die sooner and not suffer they old age ailments

Parents' weekend? 51 weekends of the year is what I call a parents' weekend! Why only see your parents only then?

Earth Day? Global warming occurs daily, and the Earth is slowly dying, yet you put in the bulk of your effort and money on only one day. Hello, Earth is being destroyed everyday!

Days like this involve people doing special fake actions that you have to come up with to prove your feelings. how unsincere.

Next Thursday is Labour Day. Ironic.

I think I proved my point.
