Fell sick today, with a damn bad sore throat and constant painful coughing. Still, it wasn't all in vain. Ponning a boring wednesday is a gd thing, though i missed Crunch time with justin and thye jie =(And i also met a nice lady at the clinic lol. Randomly talked to my maid and I about her children on how they came from RJC and got offered schloarships etc. etc. Picked up quite a few facts from there. She tried to discouraged me from taking scholarships cos of the bond you have to upkeep. But she's damn smart, she looked at me and knew that I had sore throat, cough and heatiness (i didn't even stifle a choke a in front of her) Also told me about her own uber smart maid who picked up languages very fast, and how she tutored students of her own. The topics led from one to another as time passed, and I was impressed.

Sunday YGO Tournament:
It was at some ulu hotel, riverview hotel, and the food there was like uber ex! forced to eat instant noodles from the nearby petrol kiosk. not the point though.
Jun Xiang, Kenneth Goh, Victor and Jensen were at the event, but Jun Xiang didnt managed to sign up in time, cos its limited to 150 players only (stupid rule).
Round 1 was pretty sweet, played against a Necro guardna build DAD, but it failed against my deck. His deck was simply slower than mine, and I managed to swarm in quickly with my D.D.R and DMOC combo. I was doing quite well against him in the final round, but he suddenly managed to turn things around with Hades Gors and b4 i knew it i has 1400 LP and a set torrential tribute, and he had a faceup armageddon knight.
If he attacked, I would have died, but NO, he just had to play premature burial and Special Summon Gorz. My torrential tribute could now activate, killing all his monsters, and i swung in directly the following turn.
Round 2 was interesting, against a Bloo-D deck, and I was very surprised during the first round, causing me to lose it. The following 2 rounds were easy to counter since I knew the weaknesses of Bloo-D and sided against him appropriately.
Round 3 was probably the most dumbfounding one: Red Eyes Dark metal Dragon. This guy has lots of money, nad swarmed his dragon mosnters against me. I didn't know how to counter this threat, cos' he is prolly the only one in the tourney with it, so i died badly =/
Round 4 was a walkover =) Took my time and watch a 8-year old girl play with a warrior control deck. yeaps, 8-years old, but she really damn pro, and a future female champion, hands down. She even know what's priority, and shuffles her hand quickly. Reminds me of xiaomei lol.
Round 5 was against Alex from Yishun. At first I was like shit, sure die, but then I found that my deck was a big problem against his, so not much difficulty. However, I got the worst hand in my life during the final match, even he couldnt believe it. I was damn suay. Apparently he said he hadnt had such a tough duel in a long time. I'm glad =)
Round 6 I was feeling damn crappy, so I wasn't playing seroiusly, but I still won anyhow against a slightly noob spellcaster deck.
Final Score: 4/6
Position: 30/150 players
All in all, not bad, gained a lot of experience.
